We’re looking for a Jewellery Sales Advisor / Stock Coordinator to join our growing team — someone who is detail-oriented, organised, and passionate about jewellery, heritage, and customer experience.

Role Overview

This role combines in-person client advisory with back-of-house stock coordination. You’ll support the journey of each piece — from intake and quality control through to in-store presentation and sale.
You’ll manage product information, maintain stock accuracy, and ensure every piece is beautifully presented and ready for our discerning customers and collectors.

This is an in-person role, including weekend work as part of the regular rota.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and assist clients during in-person appointments and showroom visits.

Provide knowledgeable, confident guidance on antique jewellery, provenance, and craftsmanship.

Support customers through the purchasing process, offering a refined and personalised experience.

Contribute to meeting sales targets and maintaining exceptional client service standards.

Stock & Data Management

Input and update product details in our stock system (internal database and Shopify), including titles, descriptions, materials, measurements, and pricing.

Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure physical and digital records match.

Organise items efficiently, assigning SKU codes and ensuring consistent naming and categorisation.

Generate reports on stock levels, product movement, and listing progress.

Condition & Quality Control

Check all jewellery pieces for condition, cleanliness, and completeness before listing or sale.

Record and track items requiring repair, resizing, or cleaning.

Liaise with our workshop and customers to monitor progress and ensure all items meet presentation standards.

Maintain repair and service logs for reference and accountability.

General Administration

Prepare and maintain accurate documents, stock reports, and audit files.

Support the operations and e-commerce teams with data checks and content updates.

Help ensure all systems and records are consistent across departments.

Skills & Experience

Minimum 2+ years’ experience in luxury sales or high-end retail.

Strong understanding of delivering exceptional client experiences.

High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

Competent with Shopify, Google Sheets, and/or Excel.

Organised and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Strong written English and confident communication skills.

Availability for weekend work.

Gem-A qualification (DGA/FGA) or equivalent gemmological training.

Basic knowledge of jewellery, including materials, hallmarks, and gemstone types.

Experience with antique or fine jewellery sales.

Background in luxury or heritage retail environments.

Personal Qualities

Precise, methodical, and reliable.

Strong sense of ownership and pride in maintaining standards.

Collaborative and comfortable working with small specialist teams.

Passionate about jewellery, design, and craftsmanship.

Opportunity to work closely with rare and historic jewellery.

Training in jewellery identification and care.
