Waux Ltd is a well-established company based in Borough Green, Kent, specializing in the manufacture of GRP (glass-reinforced plastic) walkways, platforms, stairs, and other structures. We\’re expanding our team and looking for a hands-on Workshop Operative with a background in carpentry, fabrication, or general workshop experience. What You\’ll Do Fabricate GRP structures including platforms and stairs Cut GRP sheets and profiles using wall saws, wet cut saws, and chop saws Drill, paint, and assemble components using rivets and bolts Work from technical drawings and fabrication plans Assist with loading/unloading lorries and controlling stock Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Operate a forklift (training provided) What We’re Looking For Experience in carpentry, fabrication, or workshop environments Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety Positive attitude and strong work ethic Forklift license is a plus (training available if needed) What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience On-the-job training and skill development Opportunities for advancement in a growing company Supportive, team-oriented work environment All tools and safety equipment provided On-site parking and accessible location via public transport Paid holidays and pension contributions Ready to Join Us?
