We are looking for a dynamic and commercially driven Sales Leader UK & Ireland to accelerate the growth of our HVAC & Controls and Plumbing business across the United Kingdom and Ireland, with a strong focus on the WHO segment. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing strategic customer relationships, driving specification and pull-through activities, and leading commercial initiatives across the UK & Ireland market. This role requires a strong combination of leadership, market understanding, strategic thinking, and hands-on commercial execution.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and execute the UK sales strategy for HVAC & Controls and Plumbing
- Drive sustainable sales growth and market share expansion
- Build strong relationships with key customers, consultants, installers, contractors, wholesalers, and specification partners
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and vertical market approaches
- Lead and support specification-driven sales and pull strategies
- Work closely with marketing, product management, customer service, and operations to ensure alignment and execution
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities
- Deliver accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and business reporting
- Support pricing strategies and commercial negotiations
- Coach, motivate, and develop the UK commercial organization where applicable
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred
- Minimum 7–10 years of commercial experience within HVAC, plumbing, Controls, water technologies, or building services
- Proven leadership experience managing sales teams and driving commercial performance
- Strong understanding of the UK & Ireland HVAC and plumbing distribution landscape
- Experience working with specification sales, consultants, contractors, and wholesale channels
- Demonstrated success in delivering growth strategies and business development initiatives
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Financial and commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and sales forecasts
- Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and sales analytics tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced international matrix organization
- Willingness to travel regularly within the UK
- Full UK driving license required
