We are seeking an experienced Sprayer Operator to join our farm operations team. This role is essential in delivering accurate, safe and efficient pesticide and fertiliser applications across our Kent and Essex sites. About The Role
Reporting to the Farm Operations Manager, you will carry out all spraying operations across Kent and Essex while ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety standards. You’ll also support wider field and farm activities throughout the year, contributing to the smooth running of our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out all spraying duties across Kent and Essex, ensuring safe, accurate and compliant applications.
- Operate a range of farm machinery for cultivations, drilling, planting, bed forming, hoeing, mowing and general tractor work.
- Maintain accurate stock records for chemical, seed and fertiliser stores.
- Follow all Health & Safety and Food Safety procedures, reporting any faults, risks or unsafe conditions immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organised and compliant working environment.
- Support winter operations including plant maintenance and general farm work.
About You
You’ll bring enthusiasm, a practical mindset and the willingness to learn and adapt within a busy environment.
Experience & Qualifications
- Active and valid PA1 and PA2 licence with NROSO points collected on an annual basis.
- Additional PA certifications welcomed.
- Minimum 5 years’ tractor driving experience on farms.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience in ploughing, shake rating, bed forming and hoeing is highly advantageous.
- Ideally previous experience in a Sprayer Operator role.

Working Hours
April - October: Typically 6 days a week, working 50 - 60 hours per week, reflecting the busy crop season. November - February: Reduced to a 5 day week, working 40 hours per week, allowing downtime from the peak season. We can take a flexible approach to shift start times, which can be discussed at interview.
