Are you organised and proactive looking for a key role in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a dedicated individual to support our intake and yard operations, ensuring efficient unloading, stock handling, and site cleanliness.
What does the job involve?
- Intake Operators are responsible for booking in stock, processing orders and carrying out regular stock checks.
- Loading and unloading goods, including fresh produce, packaging, and waste materials.
- Maintaining yard and loading bay housekeeping standards.
- Picking orders and decanting pallets to support production needs.
- Operating machinery for baling and compacting waste materials.
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations.
- Maintaining forklift and handling equipment, completing pre-work checks.
- Accurately completing stock records, weight checks, and traceability documentation.
- Liaising with the Production Manager and Dispatch Supervisors on customer orders and stock requirements.
What we’re looking for?
- Previous experience in a warehouse or yard role is desirable.
- Strong organisational skills.
- A hands‑on team player with a proactive attitude.
- Physical stamina with a good level of self‑motivation.
- Experience of operating balers, compactors, and handling stock rotation.
- Respecting rules and regulations.
Working hours
You will work 48 hours per week, working 5 shifts out of 7 on a rota basis (including weekends). Shifts will be scheduled between the hours of 07.00 and 17.00 and will be confirmed on a rota basis. A degree of flexibility will be required.

Our production sites are based in Kent and include organic land and polytunnels. We are specialist growers, who over the years have developed both growing techniques and varieties to provide our customers with the best quality and flavour. We pride ourselves on quality and service and are passionate about food and ensuring we provide a first‑class service to our customers. We meet the requirements of the BRC standard for Food Safety.
