The predicted salary is between 11 - 14 £ per hour.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our farm team from March 2026 on a fixed term contract for up to 8 months. If you’re looking for a role that’s challenging, but where pay is rewarded on output, join us in the Kent countryside.

Responsibilities

  • The role includes manually planting, harvesting, and maintaining crops (hand weeding), both on fields and in poly tunnels.
  • You will have good physical stamina to meet the minimum pick rate speed and will be a motivated self-starter.
  • You will also have good dexterity to enable you to use your hands in a skilful, coordinated way when handling the crop and cutting appliances.
  • Due to the nature of this work, you will be willing and able to work in all weathers and be flexible to work 6 days per week between the hours of 6am and 6pm.

Key Skills / Experience

  • Previous experience or an understanding of harvesting is desirable.
  • Dependable and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work outside in all weathers.
  • Good dexterity.
  • Physical stamina.
  • Respecting of rules and regulations.

Working hours

5+ days per week, 6am-6pm.

Recruitment process

The interview process will include both an interview and a work sample. Pre-employment checks will include a Drug & Alcohol test.
