Are you an efficient, experienced Transport Administrator looking for a new opportunity? We are seeking a strong administrator to join our busy Transport Department at our site in Aylesford on a full time, permanent basis. Hours for the Transport Administrator role will be 08:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday.
What does the job involve?
- Delivering a professional, fast and efficient administration service to the Transport office.
- Conducting driver debriefs.
- Maintaining accurate and up to date transport documentation and reports.
- Booking vehicles in for servicing and maintenance.
- Managing stock levels of consumables and the reusable tray inventory.
- Answering and resolving telephone & email queries.
- Collaboratively working with the Fleet Administrator tracking and ensuring compliance with the Working Time Directive.
- Liaising with customers and the customer service team to resolve queries.
- Ad-hoc administrative tasks supporting the department and office function.
- Communication with drivers to track the completion of deliveries and collections and to gather information on request such as ETAs.
