We are currently recruiting for a Counter Balance Driver for a temporary contract starting immediately.

Job Overview: We are currently recruiting experienced Counterbalance Forklift Drivers to join a busy automotive logistics operation based in the Bottesford / Long Bennington area of Nottinghamshire. This is a temporary ongoing role expected to last a minimum of 6 months. The successful candidates will be responsible for unloading vehicles from shipping containers and supporting the smooth movement of stock throughout the site while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
  • Unloading cars and vehicle parts from containers
  • Moving vehicles and stock around the yard area
  • Carrying out daily vehicle and equipment checks
  • Following all site health and safety procedures
  • Assisting with general warehouse and logistics duties when required
  • Reporting any damages or operational issues promptly

Requirements:

  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence/Certificate
  • Previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT in a warehouse or logistics environment
  • Experience unloading containers preferred
  • Good awareness of health and safety procedures
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
  • Flexible approach to shifts and workload
