We are seeking an ambitious and driven Area Sales Manager to join our growing team, covering the South East of England. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded sales professional with experience in power transmissions and a strong mechanical engineering background to develop new business opportunities while managing and growing existing customer accounts.
The Role
- Building long-term relationships with customers across a variety of industrial sectors, providing technical sales support and delivering tailored power transmission solutions.
- Developing new business opportunities across the South East region.
- Managing and growing existing customer accounts.
- Promoting a range of power transmission products and solutions.
- Providing technical support and application advice to customers.
- Conducting regular customer visits and presentations.
- Preparing quotations and negotiating contracts.
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service.
About You
- Previous experience within power transmissions, mechanical components, or industrial engineering sales.
- A mechanical engineering qualification or strong mechanical engineering background.
- Proven experience in both business development and account management.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage your own diary.
- A full UK driving licence.
Working Pattern
- 1 day per week working from home.
- Most of the week spent visiting customers across the South East.
