Our client based in Bedford are currently recruiting for a Client Success Manager on a fixed term contract to cover Maternity leave.
The primary purpose of this role is to manage, strengthen, and grow strategic relationships with UK universities, ensuring the long-term retention of key contracts and successful onboarding of new institutional clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Retention & Growth: Serve as the strategic account owner for a portfolio of university clients, focusing on contract retention and identifying opportunities for service expansion (client value growth).
- University Collaboration: Work closely with key university stakeholders (e.g., Registrar\’s Office, Events Teams, Student Services) to plan, design, and execute flawless graduation ceremonies and related services.
- Brand Stewardship: Proactively manage the employer\’s brand reputation by ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery and communication, positioning us as a trusted, expert partner in the higher education sector.
Key Requirements
- Relationship Building: Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels within a university environment.
- Project Management: Ability to manage complex projects (multiple graduation cycles/events), define objectives, manage resources, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of contract management, service value proposition, and achieving commercial outcomes (retention and growth).
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to mitigating service risks.
- Travel: Flexibility and willingness to undertake frequent national travel to university client sites.
