Accountable to: SHEQ Manager & Directors
Is safety compliance a bit of you? Join Watson as a SHEQ Coordinator and help our SHEQ department promote safety culture with employees and subcontractors. You’ll be based in the office and coordinate all sorts of safety information, from training records to ISO certification whilst maintaining and obtaining up to date documentation to make sure the company is meeting all legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 accreditations
- Provide effective document control and quality assurance
- Support the implementation of SHEQ initiatives and management systems
- Coordinate health and safety training for all employees when required
- Maintain and update training records in line with competency requirements
- Communicate changes to processes and procedures when required
- Collate required documentation from subcontractors
- Comply with company policies and procedures
- Coordinate compliance documentation for office space
Skills Knowledge And Aptitude
- Effective communication skills, the ability to build effective working relationships both internally and externally
- Great organisation skills and able to manage workload to deadlines
- Confident in use of Microsoft packages and general I.T.
- Proactive attitude towards health and safety culture
- Team player and supportive of colleagues
Qualifications - Desirable
- NVQ Level 3 in Administration
- NEBOSH General or Construction
Experience
- Confident in using Microsoft packages
- Previously worked in administration role within an office environment
