We are looking to recruit an Office Junior to join our Family Team at our Darlington office. This is a full time position and would suit someone looking to begin or develop their career within a busy legal environment. The successful candidate will provide day to day administrative support to the Family Team, assisting with a variety of office duties to ensure the smooth running of the department. Duties will include:
- Opening and closing client files
- Photocopying, scanning and filing documents
- Preparing post and assisting with general office administration
- Answering telephone calls and taking messages
- Supporting fee earners with ad hoc administrative tasks
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring documents are correctly stored
Requirements The ideal candidate will be organised, reliable and willing to assist with a wide range of tasks. Good communication and IT skills are essential, along with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail. The ability to work well within a team, manage workload effectively and maintain confidentiality is important. Previous office or administrative experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
