The Role
We are seeking a highly organised Criminal Secretary to join our growing Crime Team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will provide essential support to our fee earners, ensuring the smooth running of cases by:
- Drafting legal documents and correspondence
- Taking initial instructions and client statements
- Managing dictations and preparing accurate transcriptions
- Collating and organising court bundles
- Handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Providing reception cover as needed
This is a fast-paced role that requires strong attention to detail, efficiency, and a proactive approach.
About You
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines
- Strong communication and IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office
- The ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
- A flexible approach, including a willingness to take on a variety of tasks and work outside core hours if required
