We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Solicitor to join our growing family law team. This role is suitable for a solicitor with experience in private law children matters, public law care proceedings, or a combination of both.
The Role
- Manage your own caseload and provide high-quality legal advice and representation to clients, including:
- Private law children matters (residence, contact, specific issue and prohibited steps orders)
- Public law children matters (care, supervision and emergency protection proceedings)
- Advocacy in court (where appropriate)
- Drafting applications, statements and other legal documents
- Working closely with clients, social services, guardians and other professionals
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (or CILEX equivalent)
- Experience in private and/or public family law children work
- Strong knowledge of family law and court procedures
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
