We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Solicitor to join our growing family law team. This role is suitable for a solicitor with experience in private law children matters, public law care proceedings, or a combination of both.

The Role

  • Manage your own caseload and provide high-quality legal advice and representation to clients, including:
  • Private law children matters (residence, contact, specific issue and prohibited steps orders)
  • Public law children matters (care, supervision and emergency protection proceedings)
  • Advocacy in court (where appropriate)
  • Drafting applications, statements and other legal documents
  • Working closely with clients, social services, guardians and other professionals

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (or CILEX equivalent)
  • Experience in private and/or public family law children work
  • Strong knowledge of family law and court procedures
  • Excellent client care and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
