Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and motivated candidate to lead our WMArchitect team, overseeing efficient manufacturing of company products and ensuring compliance with health and safety, ISO 14644, ISO 9001, cGMP, and ISO 14001 standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure assembly of single use fluid technology paths follows the manufacturing plan.
- Oversee efficient assembly, maintaining product quality through regular work in progress reviews.
- Address faults or defects, escalating when necessary.
- Organise, prioritise and distribute daily workload for the WMArchitect operatives.
- Conduct assembly line set up, operational supervision and line clearance activities.
- Lead training of operatives to develop a multi-skilled, engaged team.
- Maintain documentation to comply with BS EN ISO 14644, ISO 9001 and cGMP standards.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 environmental standards.
- Maintain company health and safety standards, contributing to initiatives.
- Ensure cleaning operations in the cleanroom meet BS EN ISO 14644 requirements.
- Liaise with other Manufacturing Team Leaders and Operators for efficient product flow.
- Input and maintain all data required within production support software.
- Manage sickness absence and annual leave requests for the team.
- Lead the daily Level 1 Self-Directed Team board for WMArchitect.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.
Skills/Experience
- Demonstrable experience on an assembly line with manual assembly of plastic injection-moulded products.
- Experience leading a team to deliver outcomes aligned to a production plan, ideally in a medical or pharmaceutical environment.
- Awareness of BS EN ISO 14644, ISO 9001 and cGMP standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-solving ability with timely implementation of solutions.
- Attention to detail and strict adherence to specifications.
- Effective time management and prioritisation to meet deadlines.
- Strong teamwork and relationship-building across business areas.
- Competent IT user, capable with Microsoft Office and production support software.
