Watson Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions are seeking an experienced Product Manager for the global management of their Biopure range of ultra-pure single-use components and fitting and the WM Architect single-use assemblies portfolio to support the Life Sciences sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success in Product Management in a similarly oriented B2B environment in the life sciences and ideally experience of engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the customer advocate for Biopure and WM Architect single-use solutions, translating customer needs and industry challenges into product strategy and innovation.
  • Lead customer engagement activities including site visits, Voice of Customer interviews, application reviews, and market analysis across the biopharma and high-purity processing sectors.
  • Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps that drive growth, differentiation, and long‑term commercial success.
  • Define compelling value propositions, positioning, and messaging that clearly communicate customer benefits and competitive advantages.
  • Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to shape future product direction.
  • Own the lifecycle management of the Biopure and WM Architect portfolios, from concept and launch through to optimisation and retirement.
  • Lead successful product launches, including market requirements, customer value propositions, pricing strategies, and go‑to‑market plans.
  • Partner with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Commercial teams to deliver high‑quality solutions that meet customer and market needs.
  • Support global sales teams with product expertise, training, value‑based selling tools, and customer‑focused marketing materials.
  • Analyse portfolio performance, identifying opportunities to improve profitability, customer adoption, and market share.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, OEMs, industry partners, and key stakeholders across the global business.
  • Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and technical forums, acting as a recognised subject matter expert.
  • Serve as the product management lead for manufacturing sites in the UK and USA, supporting product lifecycle activities, change management, and critical customer issues.

Skills/Experience

  • You will have experience working in the Life Sciences industry (Pharma, Biopharma, Medical Devices).
  • You will have practical experience of single-use components and assemblies and the applications where these would be used in an industrial setting.
  • You will ideally have experience in a similar Product Management role or adjacent function.
  • You should have experience in hardware engineering projects.
  • You will be able to travel, as required, for the needs of the business to the site in Dunsbury Park and Devens, customer visits, conferences and trade shows and occasional international travel to other WMFTS sites.
