Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and motivated Manufacturing Team Leader to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the efficient manufacturing of company products, maintaining a high‑performing assembly line that is consistent with company standard operating procedures.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times and maintain all relevant documentation in accordance with BS EN ISO 14644 clean room requirements, BS EN ISO 9001 and cGMP standards.
- Ensure manufacturing and/or assembly of our fluid technology products are carried out in accordance with the manufacturing plan.
- Maintain product quality by carrying out regular work‑in‑progress reviews.
- Address all faults or defects within manufactured products and equipment, escalating through the relevant channels when required.
- Organise, prioritise and distribute the daily workload within the team of Manufacturing Operatives.
- Carry out line set‑up, operational supervision and line clearance activities.
- Comply with ISO 14001 environmental standards.
- Comply with all company health and safety rules and regulations at all times, and contribute to company health and safety initiatives and activities.
- Ensure daily, weekly and monthly cleaning operations within the cleanroom environment are carried out in accordance with company procedures.
- Liaise with other Manufacturing Team Leaders and Operators to ensure efficient flow of manufactured product.
- Input and maintain all data required within production support software.
- Manage sickness absence and annual leave requests across the team.
- Lead the daily Level 1 Self‑Directed Team board for Manufacturing.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.
