The GPO is the driving force behind world-class, future-ready business processes across WMFTS. Acting as the global authority, the GPO designs, delivers, and continuously improves processes that align operating companies, functions, and systems—ensuring best practice, strong governance, and real business value.
What You'll Own
- Strategy & Roadmap
- Set the vision and roadmap for global process improvement.
- Prioritise change backlogs to keep pace with evolving business needs.
- Align diverse stakeholders around a unified business model.
- Bring in external best practice to stay ahead of the curve.
- Process Design & Governance
- Act as Design Authority for global processes.
- Resolve cross-functional and cross-OpCo process misalignment.
- Balance local needs with sustainable global standards.
- Lead structured improvement using tools like BPM, VSM, PDCA, and Six Sigma.
- Monitor adoption, performance, and continuous improvement.
- Own data for the functional stream and champion data governance and quality.
- Change & Engagement
- Assess impact and scale of change across the Division.
- Influence senior leaders to drive adoption of global processes.
- Align business and system resources for effective rollout.
- Ensure strong communication, documentation, training, and cross-functional engagement.
- Project Leadership
- Plan and manage workstreams (timelines, milestones, risk, resources).
- Lead and motivate key users, analysts, and specialists.
- Oversee process integration with system capabilities.
- Ensure solutions meet business needs through testing and quality assurance.
- Partner on training and change management to embed lasting adoption.
- Provide clear, consistent reporting to stakeholders.
What You Bring
- Proven experience leading business process improvement initiatives.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and optimisation opportunities.
- Hands-on use of Six Sigma or similar methodologies.
- Experience driving change across global or multi-site organisations.
