Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and motivated Global Logistics and Warehouse Manager to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Logistics and Freight Management: Own global inbound and outbound freight strategy, including carrier selection, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring. Improve freight consolidation, regional hub efficiency, and cost‑to‑serve metrics across regions. Ensure compliance with global trade, export/import regulations, and documentation requirements. Develop and maintain global freight dashboards and KPIs with focus on visibility, cost, and service.
  • Warehouse Management: Drive standardisation of warehouse processes across factories, hubs, and regional sites. Lead initiatives for warehouse layout optimisation, space utilisation, and inventory flow improvements. Establish common KPIs for warehouse efficiency, accuracy, and safety across all sites. Oversee warehouse technology implementation (e.g., scanning, barcode, automation tools).
  • Process & Policy Standardisation: Define and roll out global logistics and warehouse operating procedures (SOPs). Align with local teams to ensure consistency in material handling, storage, dispatch, and returns processes. Implement best practices across sites while considering local constraints and regulations. Lead transformation projects such as warehouse consolidation, logistics outsourcing, or hub strategy implementation. Partner with cross‑functional teams (IT, Operations, Finance) to implement logistics and warehouse improvement projects. Support business cases for new distribution hubs, warehouse investments, and 3PL engagements.

Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred and/or qualified by experience.
  • Professionally qualified – e.g., APICS CPIM, CIPS, PMP, or equivalent certification.
  • Extensive commercial experience in logistics, warehouse operations, and freight management within a global manufacturing or distribution environment is essential.
  • Experience closing satellite warehouses and establishing centralised distribution hubs.
  • Strong background in supply chain processes with specific expertise in planning, warehousing, and transport logistics.
  • Demonstrable ability to lead change initiatives, drive process excellence, and implement standardised global logistics strategies.
  • Managed end‑to‑end consolidation projects, including planning, execution, and change management.
  • Experience in designing and optimising warehouse layouts, material flows, and improving space utilisation.
  • Deep understanding of freight operations, regional distribution models, 3PL coordination, and cost‑to‑serve optimisation.
  • Proficient in ERP and WMS systems (e.g., AX, D365), freight management tools, and logistics KPIs.
  • Skilled in managing projects and working collaboratively across cross‑functional and international teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to challenge constructively and coach others for high performance.
  • Capable of building, energising, and motivating high‑performing teams, including in matrix and dotted‑line reporting structures.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% globally.
