We are seeking a talented and motivated Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
- This is a key role in further driving Quality improvement throughout the business.
- As a Quality Engineer with Watson Marlow, you will work as part of the Quality Engineering team and collaborate with the wider business to ensure quality is embedded in new and existing processes and using data to drive continuous improvement.
- This role provides the opportunity to use your skills in a wide range of manufacturing processes where you will positively affect change, whilst supporting other departments with your experience, knowledge and passion for quality.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support the non‑conformance process by collaborating with cross‑functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Analyse quality data and identify trends to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with suppliers for PPAP (Product/Process Validation).
- Initiate and manage supplier corrective action requests.
- Support customer requests, complaints and audits.
Who You’ll Be Working With
You will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels of the business, from production through to supply chain and design functions, as well as suppliers and customers through onsite audits.
Skills/Experience
- A passion for quality
- Experience in a quality engineering role
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience with manufacturing quality tools such as SPC, risk analysis, 8D, CAPA
