Location: Watson Marlow - Bickland Water Road
We are seeking a talented and motivated Facilities Operative to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities- Complete a wide range of proactive and reactive site maintenance, repair and improvement activities in a professional manner.
- Respond to responsive repair requests and undertake planned preventative maintenance activities within target dates.
- Ensure WML estates are safe, secure and maintained to support our success and growth as a world-leading manufacturing facility.
- Action and complete allocated duties, including responsive repairs, planned preventative maintenance and improvement project related tasks within target timescales.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to emergency situations.
- Maintain allocated equipment to the standard required for safe and effective use.
- Monitor and co-ordinate contractor site activity as required by the Facilities Team Leader and/or Facilities Manager.
- Represent the Company and the Facilities function in a positive and professional manner at all times.
- Maintain complete and accurate records and paperwork relevant to your work.
- Meet at agreed intervals with the Facilities Team Leader to review operational efficiency and progress towards business objectives.
- Contribute to the preparation of key performance indicators.
- Monitor and report on the condition of site facilities.
- Identify and report issues that affect service delivery to support continuous improvement.
- Contribute to allocated site projects as required.
- Pro-actively pursue your agreed personal development aims.
Who you’ll be working closely with: Facilities Department, EHS Department, TPM Department, Internal Customers, External Contractors and Services.
Skills/ExperienceYou’ll require technical level knowledge and ability in facilities maintenance sufficient to enable compliance with relevant regulations, British Standards and industry codes of practice. You will also require the ability to multi-task and tackle a wide variety of non-related and non-standard tasks.
