We are seeking a talented and motivated Logistics Operative to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out a range of Logistics duties as allocated by the Team Leader or Logistics Manager.
  • Be responsible for the Health, ensure rubbish is placed in bins, machines are placed correctly when finished with, and work surfaces are kept tidy.
  • Utilise lean methodology to optimise all processes within Logistics to ensure efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001).
  • Self-analyse performance; plan and implement personal improvements.
  • Ensure documentation is completed in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to quality controls and measures; support the quality team on RCCA (Root Cause and Corrective Action) as required.
  • Actively report near misses and support activities to deliver improvements.

Qualifications / Skills

  • Previous experience of working within logistics including materials handling, packing, warehousing, storing and distribution of goods.
  • Good communications skills with the ability to communicate effectively across a diverse group of people.
  • Flexible, highly motivated with a can-do attitude.
  • Exposure to lean manufacturing principles.
  • Familiarisation with IT tools – including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • Experience of investigations of non-conformance and root cause analysis.
