Role overview

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, technology and people, and is looking to develop their expertise within a leading international law firm.

Sitting at the centre of our client relationship management and business development activities, this role offers exposure to a broad range of functions including data analysis, reporting, marketing technology, stakeholder engagement, training, and business development support.

Working closely with the Global CRM Manager, the successful candidate will play an important role in helping the firm understand, manage and leverage client and relationship data to support strategic decision making and business growth.

This role provides a unique opportunity to gain insight into how a global law firm attracts, develops and strengthens client relationships, while working alongside partners, lawyers and business services professionals across our international offices.

You'll be encouraged to take ownership, contribute ideas and develop new skills, with opportunities to become involved in projects spanning data quality, business intelligence, marketing technology, user engagement and process improvement.

  • Key activities/responsibilities
  • Client Data & CRM Management
  • Support the Global CRM Manager in enhancing the firm's client data and relationship management capabilities.
  • Maintain the accuracy, quality and integrity of data held within Inter Action Hybrid Cloud.
  • Monitor and manage the CRM support inbox, responding to user requests and queries.
  • Support data cleansing, maintenance, enrichment and archiving activities.
  • Assist with system updates, enhancements and ongoing optimisation.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Contribute to CRM related projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Reporting & Business Intelligence
  • Produce regular and ad hoc reports for stakeholders across the firm.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
  • Analyse client and relationship data to identify trends, insights and opportunities.
  • Support data driven decision making within Business Development and Marketing teams.
  • Create, maintain and enhance reporting outputs for a range of stakeholders.
  • User Support & Engagement
  • Deliver training and support to colleagues across the firm.
  • Create user guides, FAQs and video-based learning content.
  • Promote best practice use of client data and CRM tools.
  • Support initiatives that drive user engagement and adoption.
  • Marketing Technology Support
  • Assist with the administration of marketing technology platforms including Vuture and Cirrom.
  • Support email marketing activities and reporting.
  • Help ensure compliance with GDPR and marketing preference requirements.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and adoption of technology solutions that support business growth.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Partner with colleagues across Business Development, Marketing and Communications functions.
  • Support partners, lawyers and business services professionals with data and reporting requirements.
  • Build strong relationships across the firm and become a trusted point of contact for client data related queries.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting and user experience.

Skills and experience – essential

  • A genuine interest in data, analytics, technology, relationship management, marketing or business development.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organisational and time management abilities.
  • Confidence building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to learn new systems and technologies.

Skills and experience – desired

The following would be advantageous but are not essential

  • Experience using a CRM platform such as Inter Action, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics or similar systems.
  • Exposure to data management, reporting or analytics through professional experience, internships, placements or academic projects.
  • Knowledge of Power BI or other business intelligence tools.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms such as Vuture.
  • Understanding of data governance and GDPR principles.
  • Experience working within a professional services environment.
