Senior Trainer (Apprenticeship Grounds Worker - Construction) required to work in my client's Lichfield Depot. You must have your own driving licence and be available to work Monday to Friday from 8am-4pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Hub Manager by developing and delivering effective and impactful apprenticeship provision.
  • Ensure training is delivered in a time and cost-effective way.
  • Coordinate and deliver customer apprenticeship training and/or assessment to achieve qualitative and quantitative targets.
  • Support other apprenticeship provision within the training hub to provide expert training and development along with candidate management skills.
  • Ensure apprentices' progress and achievements are proactively maintained to comply with Ofsted & ESFA requirements as directed by compliance processes.
  • Regularly report progress & attendance through reviews with apprentices & employers.
  • Assess NVQ candidates as appropriate.
  • Forge and maintain excellent relationships with suppliers and employers.
  • Take appropriate actions with apprentices and employers to uphold our Employer Engagement Policy and Disciplinary Code.

Skills Required:

  • Proven track record of providing excellent apprenticeship (Grounds Worker – Construction) delivery to successful outcomes.
  • Suitable experience in the construction industry, particularly in the new-build housing sector at the relevant trade level.
  • Fully conversant with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, and Windows operating systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a very strong quality-driven ethos.
  • Extensive technical knowledge of house building and the governing legislative framework.
  • Ability to adapt delivery to meet learning styles to apprentices/learners' needs.
  • Qualified teacher (or working towards).
  • Trade qualification to minimum L.2 (groundworker).
  • English & maths qualification to the apprenticeship standard minimum, or above.
