Overview

A valid CSCS card is required. You must come from the Construction Sector and NOT the IT Sector. Full driving licence is necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Establishing Quality Standards: Defining, negotiating, and agreeing on in-house quality procedures, standards, and specifications based on client needs, industry regulations (like ISO standards), and business goals.
  • Executing Testing and Inspections: Performing manual or automated tests, conducting inspections, and monitoring processes to ensure compliance with defined standards and to identify defects or errors.
  • Collaborating on Issue Resolution: Working closely with development, production, and management teams to investigate the root causes of problems and ensure timely implementation of fixes and corrective actions.
  • Construction Expertise: Deep understanding of building trades, materials, methods, and complex specifications.
  • Legal Compliance: Knowledge of Building Regulations, Health & Safety laws, and contract law (JCT, NHBC) etc.
  • Inspection Skills: Ability to diagnose defects, check work against drawings, and assess material quality.

Requirements

  • A valid CSCS card is required.

  • AUTR number under CIS (Sole trader scheme).
  • You must be happy to travel around and stay overnight occasionally. Travel and accommodation will be covered.
