Mate / Labourer required to work around the Gloucester area GL2 on my client's Solar Farms. Please do not apply if you do NOT drive or have your own transport. You must also have your UTR number through CIS and a valid CSCS or ECS Card to be considered.

My client is happy to take on a Domestic Improver/Mate or Labourer if you fancy a change of scene and would like to try something different from Domestic electrical work. Solar is more niche and full training will be provided.

Working hours are 7am-5pm with an hour for lunch, totaling a 45-hour week.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Install string cables onto photovoltaic (PV) array tables.
  • Terminate DC mains cables at combiner boxes and inverter stations.
  • Make off MC4 connectors at panels and combiner boxes.
  • Terminate communication cables (RS485, CAT5, CAT6).

Skills & Qualifications Required:

  • CSCS card or ECS card (of some grading) with UTR no under CIS.
  • Full UK driving license.
