IT Support Trainee/Apprentice required to work onsite Monday - Friday, with one Saturday in 3 and then one in 4 weekends. My client is based in Thatcham, and due to the rural location, you will need your own transport (ESSENTIAL). Please note: my client cannot sponsor applicants. If you require sponsorship, please do NOT apply. This includes Tier 4 Post Study Visas and Tier 2 General Visas, as sponsorship will be needed after their expiry.
Job Responsibilities
- Full training will be provided.
- Once trained, you will support the smooth operation of desktops, laptops, tablets, smart devices, operating systems, applications, internet cafés, and other client-facing areas.
- Monitoring the IT service desk for all client areas.
- Supporting IT-related projects, including working 1 Saturday in 3 and then 1 in 4 weekends, from 9 am to 1 pm.
Skills Required
- A passion for IT.
- Willingness to learn new skills; keen and enthusiastic.
- An interest in understanding ITIL procedures.
- Knowledge (once fully trained) of technologies such as Windows desktop administration, Microsoft Office suite, LAN/WAN maintenance, audio-visual solutions, and IT security.
- A desire to learn AV.
