My client is looking for a Storeman/Warehouse Manager, ideally with some electrical skills, local to Southend. You must be happy to travel around, mainly local to Southend but on occasions further afield.
Duties:
- Managing the receiving, storing, and dispatching of goods, ensuring accurate inventory records, maintaining a tidy and safe store area.
- Monitoring stock levels, conducting stock takes, updating inventory systems, and raising issues with suppliers over shortages.
- Handling everything from deliveries and stock takes to managing discrepancies and adhering to strict health & safety rules.
- Liaising with sales, production, and suppliers.
- Receiving Goods: Unloading deliveries, checking items against paperwork, identifying, labelling, and putting them in designated locations.
- Help preparation of cables, boxes etc.
Skills Required:
- Previous and proven Storeman / Warehouse Management experience.
- Basic math skills for counting.
- Good organisation, communication, and teamwork.
Desired:
- CSCS and any electrical skills.
