We currently have a vacancy for a Qualified Chartered Accountant (min. 3 years PQE) to join a long-established, highly reputable accountancy firm based in Omagh.

About the Role:

  • This is an excellent opportunity to take on a key position within our team, working closely with the Managing Partner and supporting junior staff.
  • You will manage your own portfolio of clients and play an integral role in delivering high-quality Accounts Preparation and Client Support services.
  • Preparation and review of accounts for a wide range of clients, including limited companies.
  • Managing your own portfolio with direct client-facing responsibilities.
  • Providing guidance, support and mentoring to junior team members.
  • Assisting clients with their business needs and helping deliver added value through strong client relationships.
  • Managing and prioritising your workload to meet deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA).
  • Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience within an accountancy practice.
  • Strong experience using accounting software.
  • Proven knowledge in accounts preparation, personal tax returns and VAT returns.
  • Experience working with charities is advantageous but not essential.
  • Flexible, well organised and confident in dealing with clients.
  • Strong IT skills with the ability to plan and schedule work effectively.
