We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our clinical team on a Bank basis; someone with excellent communication skills, a strong sense of empathy, and the ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment. The salary for this role is £12.75 - £13.20 per hour, depending on your skills and experience, plus an additional 12.07% to cover holiday allowances. Main duties of the job:
- You will work closely with our well established clinical team to help provide clinical care and manage acute demand, seeing patients with a variety of conditions.

We are part of the Watling Street Primary Care Network and have a community team including nurses, social prescribers and social work assistant supporting our patient populations. We strive to provide high quality, readily accessible medical and preventative health care within a well organised, efficient, up-to-date, friendly and caring environment.
Job responsibilities:
- New patient health checks
- ECG recording
- Processing and management of laboratory samples requested by GPs/nurses
- Sterilising, cleansing and maintenance of surgical equipment
- Vaccine/cold chain storage, monitoring and recording
- Surgical equipment and vaccine re-stocking and stock rotation
- Clearing and re-stocking consulting rooms
- Preparing and maintaining environments and equipment before, during and after patient care interventions, including assisting GPs during the performance of minor operations
- Assisting in the assessment and surveillance of patients health and well-being
- Undertaking specific clinical activities for named patients that have been delegated and taught specifically in relation to that individual
- Helping to raise awareness of health and well-being and how it can be promoted
- Assisting with the collection and collation of data on needs related to health and well-being
Experience:
- Experience working as an HCA in Primary Care
