About the Placement:
The Ard, Glasgow promises to deliver a high-quality scheme in this prime city for student accommodation. In total, The Ard will offer 784 beds across a mixture of ensuite cluster beds, studios, and non ensuites. The Ard is ideally located between Glasgow city centre and the West End and is under 10 minutes by public transport to both the University of Glasgow and the University of Strathclyde.
As a placement student, you will be involved in the day-to-day management of the site, working closely with our team of professionals, contractors, suppliers, and specialists from across the business. While the focus is on learning, you will also be expected to contribute to real work activities, helping you develop practical skills and industry knowledge. This summer placement scheme will be full time hours, Monday – Friday across a 6-week period, with flexibility to suit.
Who We're Looking For:
This is a work experience placement opportunity for students who have an interest in the construction industry and/or are undertaking a construction-related qualification. You'll need to be a competent user of MS Office suite and be able to manage your own workload. If you have work experience to support your application, great, but if not don't worry, passion and drive are just as important.
