Legal Director

Watkin Jones Group, a leading name in residential development, is seeking an experienced Legal Director to oversee all dispute resolution and litigation matters. This senior role is crucial in managing legal risks and ensuring the company\’s interests are protected across a range of issues, including cladding, fire safety, payment, and commercial disputes.

As the first point of contact for all legal disputes, you will provide strategic advice to senior leadership, oversee litigation and adjudication processes, and drive early dispute resolution. Managing external legal advisors and ensuring cost-effective solutions will also be key aspects of your role.

What we\’re looking for:

To succeed, you will be a qualified solicitor (LPC or SQE) with at least four years PQE, bringing proven expertise in litigation and dispute resolution, ideally within construction or property development. Your ability to anticipate risks, negotiate effectively, and influence at all levels will be essential. Experience with cladding and fire safety disputes is a plus.
