Join Our Dynamic Team as a Development Project Manager!\\n\\nAre you ready to lead and manage high-impact development projects? We are seeking a talented Development Project Manager to join our innovative team within the Watkin Jones Group Delivery function.\\n\\nAbout the Role:\\n\\nAs a Development Project Manager, you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of capital development projects, including both self-build and third-party developments. You’ll work alongside a senior team to guide projects through their lifecycle—from managing risks and timelines to ensuring quality standards and controlling costs.
Reporting to the Development Project Director, you’ll collaborate with the Watkin Jones Construction Team, third-party contractors, consultants, and clients to ensure projects run smoothly and efficiently.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\nManage specific development projects within the agreed framework (RACI), ensuring milestones and budgets are met.\\n\\t\\nOversee capital development schemes, ensuring quality standards, schedules, and cost control are adhered to.\\n\\t\\nCoordinate the involvement of third-party contractors, consultants, and other key stakeholders.\\n\\t\\nPrepare and present regular project progress reports to the senior management team, offering insights and solutions where necessary.\\n\\t\\nTrack contractor and consultant performance, ensuring that project goals are being achieved.\\n\\t\\nAssist in preparing cash flow forecasts, budget reports, and other financial documents.\\n\\t\\nAdminister building contracts, ensuring third-party responsibilities are managed effectively and in a timely manner.\\n\\nCore Objectives:\\n\\nEnsure projects comply with all legal and regulatory requirements.\\n\\t\\nAssist in developing cost plans, identifying risks, and defining procurement strategies.\\n\\t\\nSupport the preparation and maintenance of detailed project schedules and execution plans.\\n\\t\\nAttend project meetings, ensuring effective communication and reporting.\\n\\t\\nMonitor performance and compliance of consultants and contractors, ensuring high standards.\\n\\nQualifications:\\n\\nProven experience in project management or coordination within the construction or development sector.\\n\\t\\nStrong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.\\n\\t\\nAbility to manage and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to keep projects on track.\\n\\t\\nFamiliarity with industry standards such as the RIBA Outline Plan of Work 2020 \\n\\nWhy Join Us?\\n\\nAt Watkin Jones, we believe in investing in our people.
