Key Responsibilities
- Develop understanding on GLAS custody and escrow infrastructure.
- Assist with the operational administration of escrow and custody accounts, including cash and asset holding structures.
- Assist with managing transaction execution of a wide range of corporate finance and other investment related matters and ongoing transaction administration.
- Support transaction processing activities such as receipt, release, and settlement of funds in accordance with approved instructions and internal procedures.
- Maintain accurate operational records for client accounts, transactions, and balances.
- Assist with onboarding processes for new escrow or custody arrangements, including attending calls with prospects, drafting fee proposals, agreements, and organisation of required documentation.
- Assist with opening and ongoing administration of bank and brokerage accounts.
- Support checklist management and tracking of onboarding milestones.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure onboarding processes are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Support preparation of internal reports, trackers, and summaries relating to custody and escrow accounts.
- Assist with data collation for management, audit, or compliance reporting purposes.
- Assist with coordination between stakeholders including: (i) internal - including legal, due diligence and GLAS transaction management teams in other jurisdictions, and (ii) external β clients, banking and broking partners.
- Support process improvement initiatives and documentation of operational workflows where required.
- Work consultatively with team members on ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Degree in Finance or related discipline.
- Strong attention to detail with 1β2 years of relevant experience in financial operations, custody, or corporate trust.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
