Job Description
Watford Orthodontics is a specialist orthodontic practice located in the city centre undertaking both NHS and Private Orthodontic work. The team consists of Orthodontic specialists, therapists, nurses, receptionists and a Manager. We are based within modern premises, are fully digitized and use 3D intra-oral scanning. We are seeking a responsible individual to join our specialist orthodontic practice. The suitable candidate must be a team player, be willing to learn new skills, have excellent communication skills and must have excellent time keeping. Ideally, you live locally. Candidates should be willing to work at least one Saturday per month. The ideal candidate would have the opportunity to work alongside specialists and therapists. This would give the chosen individual the opportunity to learn about orthodontic therapy if they wish to progress to this. We would be willing to train the ideal candidate in 3D intra-oral scanning, photography, treatment co-ordinating and making retainers. A trainee dental nurse could be considered for this role as well. Ideally you should be: 1. GDC registered 2. Have orthodontic experience 3. Have a qualification to allow you to take radiographs 4. Be a team player and have excellent communication skills 5. Able to work on reception if necessary 6. Be motivated to learn lab work if necessary Work remotely No Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: 12.21-16.00 per hour Schedule: 8 hour shift Work Location: In person Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Pay: Up to 16.00 per hour Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Ability to commute/relocate: Watford wd18 0af: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Licence/Certification: GDC (preferred) Work Location: In person
