Support someone with a learning disability is a rewarding job. As a Support worker some the daily activities include: shopping/ meeting friends/ cooking/ reading etc.

£12.21 an hour plus benefits, rising to £12.74 per hour after successful completion of probation and training (equivalent to £27,700 pa)

Responsibilities

• Support people with their daily life, which might include personal care, looking after the home, with planning, decisions and trying new things.
• Support people to get out and about, join in with activities and be part of their community.
• Work shifts of a mixture of early shifts, late shifts, weekends and bank holidays and sleep‑ins.

Being a driver is an advantage as that can help people with limited mobility to be able to get about.

Salary & Hours

Salary: £12.21 /hour (£26,700 per year), full‑time position is 37.5 hours. Rising to £12.74 ph (£27,700 pa) on successful completion of probation & training.

Sleep‑in duties are paid at around £63 per sleep‑in. A full‑time salary with a sleep‑in duty per week is around £26,700 pa.

Locations

Our locations are Rickmansworth at the top of Berry Lane, Chorleywood, near the high street station and Bushey.
