Resident Site Manager in Watford

We are seeking to appoint a new Resident Site Manager to maintain and develop the excellent facilities at Watford Grammar School for Boys.

The Role

The postholder will:

• Take responsibility for the effective day-to-day management, operation, maintenance, safety and security of the school’s premises and grounds.
• Ensure that the school provides a safe, secure, clean, well-maintained and welcoming environment that supports high-quality teaching and learning.
• Lead and coordinate the site team and contractors, manage planned and reactive maintenance, oversee statutory compliance and inspections, support estates and capital projects, and ensure that premises-related risks are identified, managed and appropriately reported.
• Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), premises site team, staff, contractors, external agencies and other stakeholders.
