The role:
- 8:25am - 3:15pm Monday-Friday, term-time only
- Cover lessons during short-term staff absence
- Supervise the class while they complete tasks set by the teacher
- Assist in the teaching of Games and extra-curricular sports programmes
- Help with other administrative or support staff tasks, as directed by the Cover Manager
- Discharge a duty of care to all students in the school.
The ideal candidate:
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above, or equivalent
- Experience in one of our major sports: rugby, hockey or cricket
- A commitment to extra-curricular, mid-week and Saturday fixtures is essential
- An enthusiastic and organised individual with an ability to command respect from students
- Experience working with students with a range of abilities is desirable but not essential.
