WaterWise Utilities is looking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of our water, multi-utility and civil engineering projects across Scotland.

With a strong pipeline of ongoing and upcoming work, we're seeking a commercially minded individual who can help drive project performance while working closely with our operational and procurement teams. The successful candidate will primarily lead commercial activities across live projects while also providing procurement support where required.

  • Managing the commercial performance of live projects
  • Preparing, submitting and agreeing valuations, variations and final accounts
  • Monitoring project costs, forecasts and commercial reporting
  • Working closely with operational teams to maintain effective commercial control
  • Supporting procurement activities, supplier engagement and material purchasing where required to help ensure projects are delivered efficiently and cost-effectively
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors
  • Identifying commercial risks and opportunities throughout project delivery

Previous Quantity Surveying experience within utilities, water, civil engineering or infrastructure sectors.

Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.

Experience managing valuations, variations and final accounts.

Full UK driving licence.
