The predicted salary is between 20000 - 25000 £ per year.

The appointments would be for 24.5 hours per week and would involve working with Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 children. The person appointed would also be asked to work as a lunchtime supervisor for one hour each day in addition to these hours and that would be paid at Level 1. Working hours 8.45am – 3.15pm, including lunchtime hours.

A willingness to undertake a first aid qualification is an important requirement for these posts. A contract at Level 2 is dependent on the applicant holding the relevant NVQ 2 qualification or an equivalent; applicants without the qualification would be paid at Level 1. Some Level 4 hours will be available for an applicant who holds HLTA or equivalent qualification (including QTS).

This post may be very suitable for an ECT who has not yet secured a teaching post and wishes to strengthen their experience of working within a primary school.
