START is Shropshire Council’s Care Quality Commission (CQC) registered in-house Homecare provider which supports people to regain lost skills, learn new ones, and generally increase their ability and independence. The service is available 365 days a year.

The Registered Manager is the legally accountable leader of a homecare or reablement service, responsible for the safe, effective, high-quality delivery of care and support in people’s own homes, in line with regulatory and organisational requirements.

The role combines operational management, leadership, and regulatory compliance, ensuring that people receiving support experience person-centred, outcome-focused care that promotes independence, particularly within reablement, community and hospital discharge pathways.
