As Deputy Director for Public Health, you would provide leadership to the team supporting the Director of Public Health in delivering these Corporate and wider partnership health and wellbeing priorities, making a real difference to the lives of people in Shropshire. The role will also oversee any statutory, non-statutory, and regulatory responsibilities associated with the function.
This is an opportunity for an experienced Consultant with practical knowledge of all three domains of Public Health to step into leadership of an enthusiastic and committed Public Health team. The postholder will be a senior leader in the Public Health team and an advocate for public health, prevention and wellbeing, working effectively with partners within and outside.
