This vacancy at The Keystone Academy is an outstanding and unique opportunity to become a valued and multiskilled member of a highly inclusive and collaborative team that strives to transform the lives of children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH) and their neurodivergence through all that we do.

We are seeking an organised, efficient and motivated Pastoral Lead to join our team. The role will involve leading the pastoral team to ensure that processes and systems are in place to support all learners and to positively contribute to their social, emotional and mental wellbeing.

The successful candidate will play an integral role in promoting and supporting the positive culture throughout the school and will be skilled at establishing and maintaining authentic relationships with a wide range of people, including pupils, parents / carers, staff, visitors and external agencies.

We are seeking a Pastoral Lead who can be an effective member of the school’s leadership team, taking a significant role in supporting the Designated Safeguarding Lead on safeguarding and child protection throughout the school as well as taking a strategic role for attendance.

The successful candidate will be a role model of best practice and will have experience of trauma-informed ways of working and will be able to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability with a genuine desire to work in a unique educational setting. You will also need to exemplify our core values: child centred, authentic in all our relationships and adaptive and sensitive to need.
