About us Compass Pools by Waterstream is the exclusive UK distributor of Compass Ceramic Pools, building premium swimming pools for homeowners who expect the highest standard. We are a Sussex-based business with over 50 in-house staff, and our projects are designed, supplied and installed by our own people. Our customers spend months choosing a pool, so the quality of what we show them matters. The role We are looking for a content creator to own our photography, video and social content from capture to publication, and to grow into managing the paid activity that puts it in front of the right audience. You will photograph and film installations and completed pools, behind the scenes and making-of content, then edit the material, and turn it into finished marketing: short-form video, reels, social posts, graphics, and assets for our website, email and brochures. Over time, you will take on management of our paid social and PPC activity, which is currently handled by an external agency, so the content you create is also the content you put to work. You will develop and own a content calendar and you will be trusted to plan your own shoots, hit your deadlines and deliver work that is accurate and ready to publish. What you will do * Plan and carry out photo and video shoots at customer installations and on site, including travel across the country; * Edit photography and video to a high, consistent standard in line with our brand; * Produce reels, short-form video, longer-form video, social posts and graphics for the channels we use; * Design marketing assets from your own captured material, from social graphics to layouts for web, email and print; * Schedule and publish content across our social channels to the agreed calendar; * Build and manage paid social campaigns using the content you produce, including audience targeting, creative testing and budget tracking; * Take on PPC activity as it moves in-house, working with the Marketing Manager and our current agency through the handover; * Organise and maintain our photo, video and asset library so material can be found and reused; * Capture content for customer case studies, working with our sales and installation teams; * Report on how content and paid campaigns perform and use the results to improve. What you will bring * Content - covering photography, video and editing - skills, with a portfolio that demonstrates your work; * Strong command of Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop) or equivalent; * A good eye for composition, lighting, colour and detail, and the ability to turn raw footage into polished marketing material; * A track record of managing your own workload, meeting deadlines and delivering accurate work without close supervision; * Clear communication, with the confidence to take direction, ask the right questions early and flag problems before deadlines are missed; * A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites. Desirable - At least 2 years’ experience in a content role - Proven experience producing social-first video and reels; - Graphic design skills (Illustrator, InDesign or Canva); - Understanding of PPC, ideally with hands-on experience of Google Ads; - Experience running paid campaigns on Meta, LinkedIn or similar platforms; - Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools; - Your own kit is welcome but not required. We supply equipment, and we will invest in the right tools for the right person. If you have not run paid campaigns before but have the creative skills and the appetite to learn, we want to hear from you. What we offer - £25,000 to £35,000 depending on experience - Reporting structure: Reports to the Marketing Manager. - Work setup: Primarily office based with some hybrid flexibility to be discussed; - 20 days’ holiday - A role that widens in scope, from content creation into paid media, as you prove yourself - Work that sits in a luxury, design-led product, with a business that wants its content to match How to apply Send your CV with a link to your portfolio. In your covering letter, tell us about one piece of work you planned, shot, edited and delivered with no supervision, and how long it took. If you have managed paid campaigns, tell us what you ran and what happened. Shortlisted candidates will complete a short practical task.
