- Looking for a long-term career and prepared to invest in their future, with evidence of this commitment through previous roles, qualifications, business development activity or sustained progression.
- Fully qualified accountant.We do not recruit unqualified or part-qualified accountants.
- Able to learn quickly, take ownership of work and progress quickly to running deals autonomously.
- Should live within a maximum one-hour max commute of the relevant office.Candidates looking to relocate would only be considered in exceptional circumstances.
- May come from industry or practice provided the core characteristics and qualification requirements are met.
- If coming from practice, at least three years’ post-qualification experience is expected, ideally with some exposure beyond audit.
- A genuine, well-considered interest in moving into corporate finance.
- Must hold a full driving licence and have regular access to a car.
- Must have the permanent right to work in the UK.
Potential candidate profiles include someone who has:
- Corporate finance experience in transaction services and is seeking a move into lead advisory that is not available internally.
- Exposure to corporate finance transactions through a commercial role in industry and a strong desire to move into corporate finance.
- No direct corporate finance experience, but entrepreneurial, commercially curious and strongly motivated to move into corporate finance.
