About Watershed: Watershed is the enterprise sustainability platform. Companies like Airbnb, Carlyle Group, FedEx, Visa, and Dr. Martens use Watershed to manage climate and ESG data, produce audit-ready metrics for voluntary and regulatory reporting including CSRD, and drive real decarbonization. We are looking for team members who love product-building, want to work hard at a mission-oriented startup, and will collaborate with us in shaping the culture of a growing team.
The role: We’re looking for demo analysts to help bring Watershed to more companies. Working alongside Account Executives & Solutions Engineers, you’ll run tailored demos and proof-of-concept (POC) experiences that bring the Watershed platform to life. You’ll own the POC experience end-to-end: aligning on clear success criteria, building the environment, guiding stakeholders through testing, and driving an effective debrief to decision. You’ll help craft and continuously improve our POC playbook, contribute to our go-to-market motion, and support Watershed’s global growth.
What you’ll do:
- Become an expert on the Watershed product and sustainability data. You’ll use this expertise to demonstrate Watershed’s differentiators to customers.
- Partner with AEs, Solutions, and prospective customer stakeholders to define crisp POC success criteria, and keep POCs tightly scoped to what matters most.
- Lead frequent customer working sessions throughout demos and POCs, troubleshoot in real time, and translate questions into clear product workflows.
- Prepare demo and POC environments by cleaning, transforming, and uploading business activity data when needed.
- Build repeatable demo assets, datasets, and checklists that improve win rate and reduce POC cycle time.
You might be a fit if you:
- Have 1-3 years of experience in a consulting, solutions, or data analyst role.
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and experience working directly with external customers.
- Are strong at running a process with multiple stakeholders, tight timelines, and ambiguity.
- Are comfortable setting expectations and driving alignment on scope and tradeoffs.
- Have experience working with large datasets in Excel (and optionally SQL and AI tools), and can explain data clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Are excited to join a start up, learn, and take ownership in a high tempo environment.
This role may include up to 25% travel. Must be willing to work from an office 4 days per week (except for remote roles). Watershed has hub offices in San Francisco, New York, London, and Mexico City and satellite offices in Denver, Sydney, Paris, and Berlin. Where we have offices, employees are expected to be in office for 4 days per week. Certain jobs are open to being remote and will be specifically noted on the jobs page and in the job description if so.
What’s the interview process like? It starts the same for every candidate: getting to know the team members through 1 to 2 conversations about Watershed, your experience, and your interests. Next steps can vary by role, but usual next steps are a skill or experience interview (e.g. a coding interview for an engineer, a portfolio review for a designer, deeper experience call for other roles) which leads to a virtual or in person interview panel. We prioritize transparency and lack of surprise throughout the process.
What if I need accommodations for my interview? At Watershed, we are dedicated to ensuring an inclusive recruitment process. We provide reasonable accommodations for candidates with disabilities, long-term conditions, mental health needs, religious observances, neurodivergence, or pregnancy-related support requirements. If you need assistance during your process, please contact your recruiter.
