Waters are seeking a highly organized, analytical and motivated Accounts Payable Analyst to reconcile the Global GR/IR accounts in preparation for our S/4 implementation. This position is a hybrid role, requiring on-site work at our Wilmslow offices in Cheshire on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. It is a fixed-term contract, finishing July/August 2026.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and clear the GR/IR accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies between goods or services received and the corresponding invoices.
- Liaise with internal business partners, external vendors, and other departments to resolve issues, provide guidance, and obtain required information.
- Extract data, perform analysis, and generate reports for management and auditors.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation, responses, and supporting data for GR/IR related requests.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments by reviewing them for accuracy.
- Develop standard operating procedures for GR/IR processes for SAP ECC clean up and S/4 ongoing support.
- Other Ad-Hoc reporting and administrative duties as required.
Qualifications
- Education: Degree or equivalent experience in Finance Administration.
- Experience: 2+ years’ experience in accounts payable, accounting or procure to pay role.
- Proficient in SAP.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and conditional formatting.
- Strong time management and organizational skills with an ability to prioritize workload and multitask several activities at the same time.
