Our Building Services team works on a wide range of projects across sectors including commercial, residential, healthcare, education and infrastructure, with a strong focus on innovation, collaboration and sustainable design.

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Building Services (MEP) team in Nottingham. You will play a key role in the design, coordination and delivery of electrical building services across a diverse portfolio of projects, supporting schemes from concept through to completion.

  • Lead the design and delivery of electrical building services systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarms and data systems
  • Produce design calculations, specifications, reports and technical documentation
  • Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical, public health, structural and architectural teams
  • Support project delivery across all stages, from concept through to detailed design and construction
  • Work within a BIM environment, collaborating with technicians using Autodesk Revit
  • Attend client and design team meetings, representing the electrical discipline
  • Contribute to sustainable and low-carbon design strategies
  • Assist in project planning, resource management and delivery to programme and budget

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
  • Proven experience in electrical design within a Building Services (MEP) consultancy environment
  • Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and standards
  • Experience working across multiple project stages
  • Ability to manage and deliver projects independently and as part of a team
  • Working towards or achieved Chartered status (e.g. via Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers or IET)
  • Experience with BIM and coordination tools (e.g. Autodesk Revit)
  • Knowledge of sustainable design and low-carbon technologies
