Waterman Group is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Leeds Building Services team. This role offers the opportunity to lead and deliver innovative, sustainable engineering solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects including commercial office developments, retail, industrial, and residential schemes.

You will play a key role in project delivery, mentoring junior engineers, and building strong relationships with clients and the wider design team.

  • Lead the design and delivery of mechanical building services systems including HVAC, heating and cooling systems, ventilation and public health services.
  • Coordinate designs using Revit (desirable) or IES modelling software.
  • Take responsibility for project deliverables, programme management and quality assurance.
  • Liaise with architects, structural engineers, contractors and other consultants.
  • Undertake site inspections and provide technical support during construction stages.

Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.

Significant experience within a building services consultancy environment.

Proven experience delivering projects across commercial, retail, industrial and residential sectors.

Proficient in Revit (desirable) or experienced in IES modelling.

Ability to manage workload effectively and lead projects independently.
