Qualifications
- UK experience working within a Local Authority traffic engineering environment, or consultancy supporting Local Authorities.
- Confident in detailed design and implementation of traffic schemes including reviewing drawings.
- Competent in the use of TSRGD, Traffic Signs Manual, LTN 1/20 and other relevant standards and guidance documents.
- Experience in contractor liaison, including clarifications and site queries.
- Experience managing public consultations and stakeholders.
- Ability to prepare technical reports.
- Ability to prioritise workload, manage multiple schemes and work with minimal supervision.
- CAD capability beneficial but not essential.
- Experience guiding junior colleagues or providing informal support to others.
- Organisation and monitoring of costs in relation to Traffic Regulation Orders and traffic schemes.
